A climb is a continuous uphill section of a route. The system automatically recognizes sections with a gradient of more than 5% and a certain length as climbs.

Difficulty Rating System
TrailSeeker uses the internationally recognized FIETS scoring system to classify climbs into 6 difficulty levels:
| Grade | Scoring range | Color coding | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 0-49 | 🟢 Green | Beginner friendly, gentle gradient |
| Medium | 50-149 | 🔵 Blue | Moderately difficult, requires some stamina |
| Difficulty | 150-299 | 🟠Orange | Highly challenging, requires good physical fitness |
| Very difficult | 300-499 | 🔴 Red | Highly challenging, requires experience and stamina |
| Extreme | 500-749 | 🟣 Purple | Extremely challenging, professional level |
| Super Group | 750+ | âš« Black | Top Difficulty, Elite Challenge |
